Carmen Ellis and Sarah Cullen are the Australian authors of the Ocean Tales Children's Books series.  Not only are Carmen and Sarah sisters but they also have a company that takes people swimming with whales in beautiful places all over the world called Majestic Whale Encounters.  When the corona virus spread through the world, their business was at a stand still as they relied on international travel.  During this uncertain time, they created their very first children's book to spread joy and hope to all the ocean loving kids and parents around the world.  Since then, they have gone on to publish four books, with two more to be released in 2022.

Carmen has three young daughters and Sarah has two little boys. Every night for as long as they can remember, they have read the kids bedtime stories and it is a dream come true to be able to read their own book to the kids.
